 Charles E. Smith, PhD
Dr. Charles Smith is a clinical faculty supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where he provides care in counseling and clinical psychology. He is also a professor of psychology at Bastyr University.
His clinical interests include psychosynthesis, spiritual psychologies, anxiety, depression, meditation, career counseling and life-purpose work. His personal healing philosophy is that healing comes from the Higher Self and is often a matter of removing obstacles to the free flow of the higher energies. He believes that life is purposeful, even when we do not understand the current purpose of events.
Dr. Smith earned his doctorate in counseling psychology at Ball State University, his master of arts in psychology at Pepperdine University and his bachelor of arts in psychology at Pacific Christian College.
