Kathleen Lumiere, DAOM, LAc

Dr. Lumiere is an Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine core faculty member at Bastyr University. Her academic and clinical interests include electro-acupuncture, Chinese dietary therapy, cancer, immunity, menopause, and stroke rehabilitation. Past research projects have been on herbal therapies for breast cancer and community acupuncture demographics.

Dr. Lumiere may be seen in Team Care as a supervisor, or privately in Practitioner Care at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

Dr. Lumiere received a bachelor's  degree from Evergreen State College, a master's degree from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and a doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. She is a member of the Washington Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance.
